Cookies cannot execute programs or transfer viruses to your computer. Their purpose is to make the website more user-friendly and effective.

(3) Use of cookies:

a) This website uses

– transient cookies (see b)
– persistent cookies (see c).

b) Transient cookies are automatically erased when you close your browser. They include session cookies. Session cookies save a "session ID" which enables requests from your browser to be allocated to the shared session so that your computer can be recognized next time you visit our website. Session cookies are erased when you log out or close your browser.

c) Persistent cookies are automatically erased after a pre-defined period which may vary depending on the cookie concerned. You can delete the cookies in the safety settings of your browser at any time.

Use of web analytics

(1) This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service offered by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies". These are small text files which are saved on your computer and which make it possible to analyse how you use the website. The information which the cookies generate on how you use this website is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and saved there. However, if you activate the IP anonymizer on this website Google will shorten your IP address in the member states of the European Union or in other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area beforehand. In rare circumstances the full IP address will be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. Google will use this information on behalf of the website operator to analyse how you use the website, compile reports on website activity and provide the website operator with other services related to website and internet use.

(2) If your IP address is transmitted from your browser by Google Analytics Google will not merge it with other data.

(3) You can adjust your browser settings to prevent cookies from being saved; however, this may prevent you from using all functions of this website in full. You can also prevent the data generated by the cookie and the data related to your website use (including your IP address) from being collected and processed by Google by downloading the browser plug-in from the following link and installing it: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

(4) This website uses Google Analytics including the "_anonymizeIp()" feature. This means that IP addresses will then be shortened prior to further processing so that they cannot be tracked back to the IP address holder. Any data collected which can be traced back to you will be immediately excluded and the personal data immediately deleted.

(5) We use Google Analytics to analyse use of our website and make regular improvements. We can use the statistics which we obtain to improve our website and the services offered and enhance relevance to the user. Google has made a commitment to abide by the EU-US Privacy Shield https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework where – on rare occasions – personal data is transferred to the USA, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework.
